01
Shot blasting is a mechanical surface-treatment process used to remove scale, oxidation and other surface contamination, or to prepare a consistent finish for later operations.

02
Components are exposed to selected blast media under controlled conditions. Media type, intensity, exposure, component handling and masking must suit the material, geometry and specified finish.
03
The process can clean heat-treated or manufactured components, remove surface scale and prepare surfaces for inspection, coating or further processing where specified.

Identify the base material, contamination or scale to remove, required finish, critical surfaces, threads and areas needing protection. Shot blasting is distinct from shot peening and should not be described as providing peening benefits unless specifically controlled and verified.
Important: suitability depends on the exact material grade, component condition, geometry and required specification. Please provide these details for technical review before treatment.

Not every component needs the same thermal cycle. Explore our full heat-treatment services or discuss the drawing and performance requirement with our team.
No. Shot peening is a controlled process intended to introduce compressive stress. General shot blasting is primarily used for cleaning or preparation.
Masking may be possible, but all critical faces, bores, threads and sealing areas must be identified before quotation.
Finish depends on material, initial condition, media and process settings. Supply a written or sample-based acceptance requirement where appearance is critical.

Tell us the process, material or steel grade, quantity, component dimensions and required specification. We will review the information and advise on the next step.
